What is the Best Metal Detector for a budget?
Here is a big question everyone has when first purchasing a metal detector! What is the Best Detector for the money? Well to honestly answer that question is like answering the question, “What is the best automobile?” It all depends on a who you are and what you want to use the detector for. I hope this short guide will help !
First off lets look at experience:
Beginning Metal Detectors (on land): Let me first say that these are true detectors not the type of detectors that you will find at a thrift store (unless you are really lucky!). Some of these detectors are still used by veteran treasure seekers because of there ease of use and reliability. (price range up to $250). These detectors are made for overall detecting, coins, metal, jewelery and the run of the mill pop top! Remember that the prices listed here are MRSP- Great deals can be found in my store section for a much lower price!
Tesoro Compadre: MSRP $189 is an easy to use one knob detector that has a lifetime warranty. I know many veteran treasure hunters use this detector still to this day because it is so easy to use and it is light enough to swing all day without fatigue. Did I mention a lifetime warranty! other Tesoro models that can fall into this category are the Silver Umax has two knobs and retails for $299. Again the Tesoro models come with a lifetime warranty which is the best in its field!
