I am looking into buying a metal detector but am not sure of the best one. i live in the U.K and have about £100 ($200.usd) to spend on one. i have looked on ebay and have seen 2 i think are quite good. but can you look at them and tell me if they are ok or not.

Features i’m looking for-works good on land and in water, can detect no more than 3′ down, can discriminate between junk/jewels/coins/gems/between different metals/ and artifacts, is light and portable, has headphones, has an easy to read digital readout screen, and a carrying bag.It must cost no more than $500.
Im looking to buy a metal detector for under $200 but I dont want crap. I would like the best for the dollar. Or maybe even around that price range. It would be great if it could even get a little wet, and detect objects further than maybe 6-7 inches. I do realize that metal detectors can get expensive to have tons of features, but as I said Im lookin for a beginner-intermediate. I dont want to buy one and regret it, because I could have spent a little more and got some very useful features.
